FAQ
The short answers.
A few things people usually want to know before trying dialupr.
Is dialupr a blocker or a security tool?
It is a focus tool. It helps you create a boundary around your attention, but it is not designed to protect a device from someone who has administrator access.
Will I lose access to my local files or devices?
No. dialupr is designed to keep local tools and devices available while public internet access is limited.
What happens when my session ends?
dialupr returns to focus mode. You can choose to start another session when you are ready.
Does dialupr track what I browse?
The website does not need your browsing history. Future community features will be designed to use the smallest amount of information possible.
Can I make a list of useful sites?
That is the idea behind community bundles. They are planned as collections of sites and apps for a specific kind of focused work.
