Why make the internet a little harder to reach?

The internet is one of the best tools we have. It is also very good at asking for one more minute.

We built dialupr around a simple idea: sometimes you do not need another productivity trick. You need a little distance from everything else.

When you are writing, learning, or trying to finish one small thing, the open internet can make every interruption feel like an option. A message, a headline, a tab, a feed. None of them has to matter much to pull you away.

dialupr does not promise perfect focus. It gives you a moment to choose.

Not a lock on the door

dialupr is not meant to be impossible to bypass, and it is not a security product. It is a gentle boundary for the moments when you want your own intention to be louder than the next notification.

That is where we are starting. We are building the tool and its community slowly, and keeping the promises small.
